- Parrallel Workflow: Writers, editors, and page designers can work on pages, spreads, or entire documents simultaneously without writing over each other’s work. A page designer can make last-minute changes to a layout, such as changing a photo or inserting an advertisement, at the same time an editor is fixing an error or correcting an important fact in the same layout.
- Accurate Page Visualization: Writers and editors can see the actual line break information and layout as they work on the copy. This way they can accurately visualize a page as they work, allowing them to fit copy more easily and effectively.
- Editorial Productivity: InCopy is a professional writing and editing program providing many productivity features that allow you to work quickly and efficiently when a deadline is approaching. In addition, each document has three view options that contribute to your productivity. Galley view shows you accurate line breaks, column breaks, and page breaks without the actual layout and text formatting in your way. Story view shows your text with no regard to the layout or line break information. Layout view shows your writing in context with the InDesign layout, allowing you to compose text into the actual layout.
